Flores a NP Komodo
Flores and Komodo National Park are located in the Lesser Sunda archipelago in the Indonesian province of East Nusa Tenggara. It is spread over three larger islands (Komodo, Rinca and Padar) and many other smaller islands. There is a very rich underwater life. It also belongs to the New 7 Wonders of the World and is also part of the so-called Coral Triangle, a group of places with the greatest underwater biodiversity in the world. Species such as Indian dugong, humpback whale, mouse whale, humpback whale, sperm whale, giant shark, white tip shark, blacktip shark, sea crocodile, leatherback, right scaly, green scaly and giant scaly have been recorded here. The underwater world here occupies two-thirds of the area of Komodo National Park and is also full of diverse coral reefs where you can observe sharks, manta rays, sea turtles or dolphins. Komodo Island is known primarily for the presence of the largest lizard-like reptile in the world - the Komodo dragon. Sea corals also grow here. The port city of Flores is Labuan Bajo, located in the west of the island, serving as a starting point for trips to Rinca and Komodo islands. Diving and snorkeling in Flores is best around the north coast of the island. We recommend diving safaris here for 3 or 6 nights. Or a safari combined with a trip and dives to Raja Ampat. I have extensive experiences on these safari trips as a guide and diving instructor with a large number of dives.
